O Brother, Where Art Thou? Photos in Sterling Colorado
My good friends Scott & Alyssa invited me to Sterling, Colorado to shoot a one-year anniversary 1930s stylized shoot inspired by the movie “O Brother, Where Art Thou?.” You might remember them from their engagement session and awesome wedding. And if you like homemade pie, old books, country living, watermelon, fedora, trains, moonshine, old books, 1930s living, frogs, and floating money, you might like this: The money shot… and my favorite from the entire session: Shot with available light inside a railroad car near an old beet factory in Sterling, Colorado:
Family-grown-local watermelon, a summertime indulgence: In preparation for this shoot, together we watched the movie “ “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” and loved the scene in which a homemade peach pie was stolen: There were many references in the movie “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” from Homer’s Odyssey where three men stumble upon the singing sirens who play seductresses with beauty and song. Alyssa fit the role perfectly as all three: Moonshine on tap
