Kari & Byron
Kari and Byron exude the kind of love that you just know will last. They make each other laugh even when “things happen.” Case in point: during our engagement session, Byron thought it was a really good idea to bring a backpack custom fit for the world’s cutest dog that would fit (great idea, well-executed). Then, Byron thought it was a great idea to bring along their bikes to explore sentimental locations downtown Minneapolis (again, another great idea, well-executed). Then comes the time when we ride downhill and they stop to consider the what a dress blowing in the wind might do to chain suck, “Perhaps we should tie it up,” Kari said to Byron. (great idea). Byron to Kari, “Don’t worry about it.” Moments later, what happened? A simple unwinding of a cute, soft dress stuck in the cog meshed with a bike chain. We agreed the tear in the dress resembled a heart. The ideas of what could become of it made us all laugh.
You see, I know Byron and Kari’s wedding in Minneapolis in September will be a party filled with a great people. More importantly, they will have the opportunity to witness the love of two people that can still smile and laugh even when things don’t go as planned. As we know, that is called “life.”
Knowing Kari, the day will be thoughtfully planned, sentimental, and beautiful. And there will be a special four-legged furry friend that will win the crowd over.
