Rustic Minnesota Wedding {Nadia & Rob}
This rustic Minnesota wedding at the Voyageur Environmental Center was a darn perfect fall wedding. Nadia and Rob simplified and chose to have everything in one place: preparation, ceremony, and reception. This minimized logistics and maximized time with loved ones. Their ceremony was a every thing a wedding photographer could dream for, featuring a ceremony circle that created the perfect stage for candid ceremony moments of guests. Each guest “warmed” their wedding bands as they were passed through yarn. After the ceremony was over, the bride and groom headed straight to a canoe and paddled fast away. I could hear their giddily laughter and echoing along the waters’ edge as I crouched low for my photographic perspective. There were a few wildlife cameo appearances, too!
Nadia and Rob, I thank you for your kindness, energy, and sentiment throughout the day. I realize your wedding photography very important to you, and appreciate your trust in me to create images you love as much as I love creating them!
Their “inner circle” featured many staffers from Outward Bound where Nadia and Rob work. Naturally, I put them in the good light, with an eye towards editorial flair.
