Part 5. Personal Experiences
When you visit the world’s largest outdoor art festival, you can’t be inspired!
My DocTeam ’14 assignment included photographing certain camps and art installations. While it was a whirlwind to complete the assignment, I tried my best. Many of the art installations I was to photograph were never created, making them impossible to find. Racing out to catch sunrise for four mornings to spend time with the art in the warm, early light remains a highlight each year. The art is ephemeral, as it will be taken down after the week. Pictures and memories remain. Here are a few of my favorite art projects from Burning Man 2014: Caravansary.
