Emily & Brian {Bearpath Country Club Wedding}

She knew he was the one the second day they hung out. They played beach volleyball, he was shirtless… “Need I say more?” she boasted.

He loves she can get ready in 5 minutes and look beautiful. Yet how did he know she was The One?

“Isn’t it obvious? She is smart, funny, gorgeous, outgoing, down to earth, genuine… the list goes on! I was convinced when I went to college I wasn’t going to get a girlfriend, then I met Emily and never looked back,” says Brian beaming with pride!

Brian and Emily’s surprise engagement session was just a start. “I look back at those pictures very often if I need a reminder of what true happiness looks like,” she says.

Emily & Brian chose to wed Bearpath Golf & Country Club because, “Having our wedding at a golf course with Brian being such a big golfer was icing on the cake!”

I met Brian at Lifetime Fitness, where he is a personal trainer. We’ve become good friends, playing ping pong after really intense workouts. He’s one awesome motivator and technician when it comes to teaching and performing Olympic powerlitting, too. “Alphas Leading Alphas” is our philosophy you can see in our photo shoot #WeAreAlpha. Of course I had to surprise him with an Olympic lifting bar in the hilarious Fox Fun-Booth.

“We were completely 100% ourselves the entire day, I learned The Wobble dance for the reception, and neither of us stressed about anything,” said Emily.

Brian’s favorite part of the wedding day?

“Emily,” of course. “And we were blessed with amazing weather. Once we took the party inside, it started down pouring!!! I heard it’s good luck in Hawaii, so I’m going to say it’s good luck in Minnesota, too.”

He continues, “I will never forget is Tom’s toast (my father-in-law). When I asked to marry Emily, I was given approval. Then you go thru all the wedding planning and I hugged him when he handed Emily over after walking her down the aisle…. but none of it felt like the ‘official here you go son’ like his speech! At that moment everything clicked. He truly loves me enough to call me his son and trust me with his daughter. That was a really cool moment for me!”

Emily & Brian loved that so many friends and family were in one place at one time to celebrate, and even Skyped in grandparents!
