Postcard from Kenmare {Ireland}

I made it across the pond and am wrapping up my first day in Ireland. Kick started the day with a full Irish breakfast and wrapping it up at a pub watching Irish boxing Olympics (Fightin’ Irish!!!). Met some friends who bought me my first pint of Guiness along the way and learned to drive on the right correct side of the road. Beautiful country side, warm-hearted people, cool climates, and a photographer’s paradise around each bend making this one of my favorite places. Here are a few favorites from today, including a self-portrait series. Some of the yummy sights and scenery:

I met renown Irish landscape photographer Peter Cox (also a PhaseOne photographer) and picked up his brand new book, signed. Proud to be the first American to do so! Peter gave me great tips on places to shoot and I plan seeing first hand his recommendations over the next few days.
