Art of Stitched Portraiture {Bokeh Panorama}

A sneak peek from Noah and Judy’s wedding in Oahu, Hawaii shot last Saturday. I adore the 3D-quality of this image using this new technique I’m honing. wpid-noah-judy-8x10-digital-2012-04-19-20-17.jpg
The final high res image stands at 9500 pixels x 11,000 pixels, just outside the ballpark of a 100 megapixel image. It’s not shot a tilt-shift. There’s no raster interpolation to fudge the resolution. Inspired by Doug Boutwell’s Anti-Documentary with an 8×10, something big came together in my head once the Strobist showcased Ryan Brenzier’s efforts. I was creatively curious and I look forward to pushing the technique forward in my own work. And if you are curious, here’s a link for how-to on creating bokeh panoramas.
