Wedding in Estes Park
Kat & BJ treated family and friends to a quintessential Colorado wedding experience! The September weather couldn’t have been better! Since we went 0-100mph on their engagement session, trust on the wedding day allowed us to cruise 0-60 mph in style. I was honored to serve as their destination Colorado wedding photographer along with a my good friend and second shooter, Scott Stebner. For friends and family, if you’d like to register to receive an email when Kat & BJ’s wedding photos are released click here to sign the guest book. This first shot took the combined efforts to pull off (to herd the deer and create the lighting in the background). Cheers to two deer & this dear couple in love, in the same photograph: Their wedding ceremony at St. Malo Chapel on the Rock in Estes Park treated guests to the tradition of a Catholic wedding ceremony.
Kat was about to blow out the center candle when the priest offered wisdom otherwise, creating a warm reaction by the newly minted bride and groom. A proud moment, captured. Among my favorites from they day, featuring a fist-pump, a mother of the groom grin, a beaming couple, theme of passion of red, an approval from the left with Jesus in the center. The guys clean-up quite well and offered charming humor to remind us weddings really are supposed to be fun! Beautiful Rocky Mountain light! Real, goofy, real. BJ has no problem making Kat laugh! Such a great thing!A fine-art portrait inspired by Twin Peaks. The reception at the Estes Park Center showcased with deer, mountain vistas, and great companionship.Dear past clients Andrea and Ryan helped with some of the party favors which inspired this ring shot.Congrats on your wedding in Colorado! Thank you Kat and BJ for allowing me to be a part of your day. Enjoy your full slideshow by clicking here!
