Zumba & Dead Birds

These two photos share one thing in common:

I’d never imagine a 4 lb yorkie fast enough to kill a bird. Yorkies aren’t bird dogs??? Are they??

300+ woman in all shapes and sizes, working out to music, in an artillery-based Army gym. Richard Simmons would be proud.

What do these images share in common (other than I took them while on a mini-family-vacation in Oklahoma): Fear was beaten.

It takes a huge amount of courage to:

1. Chase after something that could still eat you when you’re dead
2. Put your money where your mouth is.
3. Be proud of the result.

It takes a huge amount of courage to:

1. Go to the gym
2. Shake it to music, not giving a damn about what others think.
3. Be proud of the result.

I’m a whimp when it comes to Zumba and killing birds, but I’m proud to share the result.
