Christine and Owen were married Nov 16 and their album is DONE! It arrived from Italy yesterday, I had about 20 minutes to photograph it before packaging it up and running it back to FedEx Kinkos (they know my smiley face, well). And since I’m not one to keep surprises, I’m excited to share this sneak peek!

Pride and effort pours into the combined effort. While this may be the most expensive book they’ll ever purchase, it will be a one-of-a-kind that will offer a lifetime of memories. That’s priceless.

Their primary album was 9.5” x 13” when closed and parent albums are 8” x 12” along with 8 4”x5” pocketbooks and 2”x2” mini albums (eeeeek!!!!! they are THAT cute, but in a manly voice) . They loved their images so much they decided to add a bunch of additional spreads features for a total of 48 spreads (96 pages). The design? Simple, clean, classic style, featuring white background with a few black ones for contrast. What makes for a classic style? No overlapping images or borders along images, drop shadows, or pink pastel colors that will look dated in 20 years.

How were they able to receive their album so fast despite busy holidays? I walked them through a typical wedding album workflow which I detail in this blog on my album design process. A few of my favorite spreads:
